Over the moon!

On our recent Syrup journey we had the arduous task of sampling some outstanding cheeses from a groovy boutique cheese company in Putaruru. The Over the Moon Dairy Co. is a wonderful treat to visit. We’ve got them covered in the latest issue of Syrup if you’d like to know more. Or you can check them out online at www.overthemoondairy.co.nz. They also have a sister company – The New Zealand Cheese School which is exactly that – a cheese school.

The top pic below is ‘Venus’ a gorgeous velvety, fresh curd – dollop it on soup or spread it on fresh baked bread, top with olives & coriander and enjoy! The middle pic is a tasty, creamy goat camembert and the lower pic is a beautiful halloumi which is infused with pikopiko – yum!
