Over the moon!
On our recent Syrup journey we had the arduous task of sampling some outstanding cheeses from a groovy boutique cheese company in Putaruru. The Over the Moon Dairy Co. is a wonderful treat to visit. They also have a sister company – The New Zealand Cheese School which is exactly that – a cheese school.
The top pic below is ‘Venus’ a gorgeous velvety, fresh curd – dollop it on soup or spread it on fresh baked bread, top with olives & coriander and enjoy! The middle pic is a tasty, creamy goat camembert and the lower pic is a beautiful halloumi which is infused with pikopiko – yum!
